  • Scheuchzeria palustris L. – Rannoch-rush, Pod grass, Scheuchzeria - Perennial. On lake-edge bogs and on mixtures of ombrotrophic and minerotrophic bogs; quite often.

Family Juncaginaceae L.C. Rich.

Genus Triglochin L. – Arrowgrass

  • Triglochin maritima L. – Common Arrowgrass, Sea Arrowgrass, Shore Arrowgrass, Seaside Arrowgrass - Perennial. Upper littoral; common.
  • Triglochin palustris L. – Marsh Arrowgrass - Perennial. Bogs, wet sea coasts in desalinated areas; often.

Family Potamogetonaceae Dumort. (including Ruppiaceae Hutch., Zosteraceae Dumort.)

Genus Potamogeton L. – pondweed

  • Potamogeton alpinus Balb. – Alpine pondweed, Red pondweed - Perennial. In the Verkhneye Ershovskoe lake.
  • (#)Potamogeton lucens L. – Shining Pondweed - Perennial. In the Verkhneye Ershovskoe lake.
  • Potamogeton natans L. – Broad-leaved Pondweed, Floating Pondweed, Floating-leaf pondweed - Perennial. In the Verkhneye Ershovskoe lake.
  • Potamogeton pectinatus L. – fennel pondweed, sago pondweed, ribbon weed - Perennial. In the Nizhneye Ershovskoe lake.
  • Potamogeton praelongus Wulf. – White-stem Pondweed - Perennial. In the Verkhneye Ershovskoe lake.
  • In the lake to the south-west of the Kislaya inlet (beyond the Kindo peninsula), was found P. obtusifolius Mert. et Koch – Blunt-leaved pondweed.
  • It is very likely that on the Kindo peninsula there is also P. berchtoldii Fieb. – Berchtold's Potamogeton, though it has not been yet reported and collected.

Genus Ruppia L.

  • Ruppia maritima L. s. l. (R. brachypus J. Gay) – wigeongrass - Annual.(sometimes perennial?). Sandy and silty middle littoral; often. Particularly typical for inlets, protected from the surf and desalinated by streams flowing into them.
  • It might be possible to find R. cirrhosa (Petagna) Grande (R.spiralis L. ex Dumort.), reported on the littoral of the Velikiy island, opposite to the WSBS settlement.

Genus Zostera L.

  • Zostera marina L. [Z. hornemanniana Tutin, Z. angustifolia (Hornem.) Reichenb.] – Common eelgrass, Sseawrack - Seagrass. Perennial. Lower littoral and sublittoral. In 1960, the population died almost completely, but by 1965, has already started restoring quite well, and now is found quite often.
