Family Papaveraceae Juss. – the poppy family
Genus Papaver L. – Poppy
- +$ Papaver nudicaule L. – Iceland Poppy. Perennial. Grown as an ornamental plant at the WSBS settlement, sometimes grows as a weed. Listing P. radicatum Rottb. for the Kindo peninsula, refers to this species.

The plant collected at the edge of a sphagnum bog to the south-west of the Kindo peninsula, identified by Н. Н. Цвелев as R. acris L. s. str. R. subborealis Tzvel. Typical R. subborealis has not been reported in our area, though findings of this species on the Kindo peninsula are quite possible.
