- Dendrocopos major (Linnaeus 1758) – Great Spotted Woodpecker - common, nests, stays through winter.
- Dendrocopos minor (Linnaeus 1758) - Lesser Spotted Woodpecker – very rare, nests - Благосклонов, 1960.
