- Limapontia capitata (Müller 1774) - marine, planktonic, larvae in summer samples are common, dominant – Т. Л. Беэр, a personal message
- Limapontia senestra (Quatrefages 1844) - marine, benthic, littoral, sublittoral, common – Рогинская, 1987.
In the printed hard copy of the Catalogue there was one more species - вид Limapontia cocksi (Adler et Hancock 1848) (marine, benthic, littoral, upper sublittoral, dominant – Т. Л. Беэр, a personal message). Now it is considered as synonym of L. senestra
